Potential season award winners;
Forwards:
Top goal scorer;
This comes down to dubinsky and Tyrell right now. Both have stepped their game up tremendously to make up for the injuries occurring along the top 6 foward lines.
Dubinsky currently has 21
Tyrell 18
Cammalleri 15, though he has been injured and has completed less than half the games of either dubinsky or Tyrell he is still in 3rd and can't be counted out.
Top playmaker;
Conacher is looking like the obvious choice due to some key injuries recently with 18 assists on the year thus far.
Flaake can not be counted out though with his high caliber offense 'know-how' and passing capabilites, particularly considering he may get top line minutes know that some key players are injured. He currently has 13 assists.
Top point getter;
Dubinsky has a 7 point lead over conacher with 21 goals and 17 assists giving him 38 points.
Conacher has 13 goals and 18 assists giving him 31, which puts him on track for 55 points thus putting up a new career high.

Potential defense award winners
Top goal scorer;
Ian white has put up 6 goals, 2 on the pp and is a +26 on the year getting top line minutes.
Kronwall has put up 5 goals and is looking to out do his long-time teammate Ian white, which he made a statement of by scoring on his first shift with the team by blocking a shot and taking the puck straight up the ice on a self-made breakaway.
Top hitter;
Bouwmeester has recorded 98 hits and is a solid 24 ahead of both kronwall and white.
Goaltender recognition award;
This award goes to the most outstanding netminder in comparison to what is initially expected of them.
Luongo has played in 40 games and accumulated a record of 25 win 13 losses. He also has a 2.25 gaa and a .882 sv% alongside 5 shutouts.
York has put up a career best with only 10 games played as back-up in his rookie season he has accomplished a 8-1 record. He has a 1.22 gaa and a 92.5 sv% alongside his first career shutout.
I will post again after the end of the regular season.
